Terms of service

These terms govern your use of this website and any purchase from Lens Cellar ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Lens Cellar is an independent retailer of open-box cameras in the United States. We are not GoPro, Inc. and we are not an authorized GoPro dealer or service center. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the product.

2. Products

Every camera we sell is an open-box unit, described on the Condition page. It is not new. The manufacturer's warranty does not apply; our own warranty does. Images on the site are stock renders of the model; the unit you receive may show light cosmetic marks.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout where we are required to collect it. We may change prices at any time; the price at the time you place the order is the one you pay. Promotional codes are applied at checkout, cannot be combined, and have no cash value. If a price is shown in error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full before shipping.

4. Orders

An order is accepted when we send a shipping confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example when a unit fails a final check, the address is outside our shipping area, or the order appears fraudulent. Any payment taken is refunded in full.

5. Shipping, returns and warranty

6. Your account and information

You are responsible for giving us an accurate shipping address and a working email. How we handle your data is in the Privacy policy.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost footage or data.

8. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and the United States. Before taking any formal step, please email us; most issues are resolved in a day or two.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The version on the site when you order is the one that applies to that order.
