Lens Cellar sells one thing: the GoPro HERO13 Black, as an open-box kit, checked and covered by our own warranty.

What we are

A small independent camera reseller based in the United States. We are not GoPro and we are not an authorized GoPro dealer. We buy HERO13 Black kits whose retail boxes were opened — store returns, display pieces, cancelled orders — and bring them back to a condition we are willing to put our name on.

What happens to each kit

1. Looked over. Lens cover, both screens, doors, seals and ports examined under a lamp.
2. Wiped down. Body, lens cover and contacts cleaned, dust cleared from the ports.
3. Reset and updated. Factory reset, then the current GoPro firmware installed.
4. Recorded and played back. A short 5.3K clip shot and reviewed; audio and stabilization checked.

Every item from the retail kit — camera, Enduro battery, curved adhesive mount, mounting buckle with thumb screw, USB-C cable — is checked against the list and goes in the box. A kit that does not pass is not sold.

Why the price is lower

Because the box was opened. The camera is the same model with the same sensor; what you give up is a sealed box and the manufacturer's warranty. We replace that with our own one-year warranty.
