This policy explains what Lens Cellar collects when you visit this site or place an order, and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Order information: name, shipping address, email, phone number (if given), and what you bought. Payment details are processed by our payment provider; we never see your full card number.
  • Device information: IP address, browser, pages viewed, and referring site, collected automatically by our store platform and analytics.
  • Messages: anything you send us by email or the contact form.

What we use it for

  • Fulfilling and shipping your order, sending confirmations and tracking, and handling returns and warranty claims.
  • Answering your messages.
  • Screening orders for fraud.
  • Understanding how the site is used and measuring advertising, in aggregate.

Who we share it with

Our store platform (Shopify), the payment provider, the shipping carrier, and analytics and advertising services (such as Google) that measure site visits and ad performance. Each of them processes data under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and advertising

The site uses cookies for the cart, checkout and analytics. Advertising services may set cookies to measure whether an ad led to a visit or a purchase. You can block cookies in your browser; the cart and checkout need them to work. To opt out of Google's ad personalization, visit adssettings.google.com.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as required for tax, warranty and accounting purposes, typically 7 years. Messages are kept for 2 years.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or opt out of marketing emails at any time by emailing support@lenscellar.com. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws have additional rights, including the right to know, delete and opt out of sale or sharing; we honor these requests for all customers.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
